Lily's first day

Lily started her Mother's Day Out preschool today. She was super excited about the idea of going to school but the reality hit her when we went to her classroom and there were 2 crying kids. She cried for the first part of the day but they discovered that music made her happy. So, they left it on for the rest of the day and she was ok. I'm hoping Thursday goes a little better...

I couldn't resist....

I accidently left my battery to my awesome camera at home. So I made do with a disposable one. They'll be better next time! promise.

Wedding weekend

David and I went to my friend's wedding this past Saturday in Knoxville. We had a blast. Here are some pics. Enjoy!

I got the best gift last night. Lily slept through the night in her own bed! Yes I do realize that she is 2 and this should be a normal occurrence; well it's not. But, miracles do happen! Tonight may be a different story but it was still wonderful!

Ok, so it's really Seis De Mayo now but oh well! I hope everyone had fun. It was David's first day at his new job and so far so good. We had baseball practice and then had some amigos over for some good food and good drinks! The kiddos had fun playing Badminton (Thanks Luke and Ophelia)! I tried to keep Lily out of the giant dirt hill at practice but it wasn't happening; dirt is way too fun. I got her nice and bathed and in her Mexican dress only to get covered in queso. Oh well.
